PennWest offers an array of certificates and graduate programs, geared toward working professionals striving to reinforce their careers in myriad fields of study at its three western Pennsylvania locations and at its online global campus. “We want to meet people at any stage of their life’s journey wherever they might need education,” James Fisher, interim provost and vice president for academic affairs at PennWest University says. About one-third of its graduate students are seeking a degree or certificate to enhance their qualifications in education, including anything from becoming a principal to being eligible to teach deaf students.
