For many higher education institutions in financial peril, having previously delayed financial collapse through the rapid adoption of online degrees, new models for educating the workforce are needed. These models will need to be better aligned with the needs of employers, as well as be nimbler and more flexible to rapid growth and changing technologies. UPCEA and The EvoLLLution believe this research is coming at a critical juncture for higher education. Institutions are often struggling to stay above water. decades. Microcredentials will be paramount for the future success and long-term viability
of institutions.
